Church Planters’ Community of Practice
We are excited to announce the formation of a Community of Practice for people who are starting new churches and worshipping communities in the Episcopal Church. At long last, time and space will be made for these leaders to find each other, encourage one another and learn from one another. The first of these gatherings will be November 16 – 17 in advance of the Evangelism Matters conference at Church of the Transfiguration in Dallas, Texas. The Community of Practice will share in learning, nourishment, prayer, storytelling, and fellowship, forming bonds of affection and mutual accountability that will sustain us back home. This gathering will have a particular focus on “How to Get Started” – what planters should do when they are at the very beginning of starting a new ministry.
